Vietnam Airlines operates the "super wide-body" Boeing 787 on the Hanoi – Singapore route

To meet the travel demand between Vietnam and Singapore, Vietnam Airlines will operate the "super wide-body" Boeing 787 during the peak summer season.

From June to the end of July 2024, Vietnam Airlines will utilize the Boeing 787 for the Hanoi – Singapore route and vice versa, with a frequency of 07 flights per week. This will increase the passenger capacity on each flight by over 50% compared to narrow-body aircraft.

The modern Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft can carry more than 300 passengers per flight and is dubbed a "flying hotel" due to its spacious, comfortable passenger cabin. Notably, the larger windows, optimized cabin humidity, and pressure are standout features of this aircraft model.

In the Business Class, seats on the Boeing 787 can fully recline, allowing passengers to rest comfortably. Additional amenities, such as personal entertainment screens with hundreds of exciting programs, USB ports at each seat, and larger overhead bins, are features highly appreciated by passengers.

Importantly, the Boeing 787 is a fuel-efficient aircraft that reduces noise and greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing its environmental impact.

The operation of wide-body aircraft between Hanoi and Singapore underscores Vietnam Airlines' commitment to enhancing the flying experience for passengers and attracting tourists to both countries.

Previously, Vietnam Airlines partnered with Sentosa Development Corporation, a major group in Singapore, to promote tourism, market the Singapore destination, and highlight Vietnam Airlines' services, offering many attractive incentives for travelers.
