Vietnam Airlines operates its first charter flight connecting to Hokkaido, Japan

This morning (November 16), Vietnam Airlines officially conducted its first charter flight connecting Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Hokkaido, Japan. This event marks the beginning of a promising partnership between VNA and Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.

Flight VN9890, which departed from Noi Bai International Airport, landed at New Chitose Airport (Hokkaido) at 7:19 AM local time, carrying a total of 270 passengers.

The welcoming ceremony at New Chitose Airport, organized by VNA and Hokkaido Prefecture, was held in a formal and warm atmosphere. The event attracted a large number of journalists from various media outlets in Japan to attend and cover the news.

The return flight, VN9891, departed from New Chitose Airport at 9:15 AM (local time) to Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh. Notably, the flight included the presence of Hokkaido Governor Naomichi Suzuki and Mr. Takebe Tsutomu, the special advisor of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance.
