Vietnam Airlines launches a new route to Mumbai (India)
With the aim of continuously expanding its international route network and meeting passenger travel demands, starting from May 20, 2023, Vietnam Airlines will operate a new route between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Mumbai (India). This new route offers exciting opportunities for passengers who wish to visit the city, which is considered the commercial and cultural hub of this South Asian nation.
Vietnam Airlines will operate four flights per week on the Hanoi-Mumbai route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and three flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City-Mumbai route on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flights will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.
Mumbai is the second city in India to which Vietnam Airlines has opened a route. Previously, the airline began operating direct flights connecting Vietnam and the Indian capital New Delhi in June 2022. This new route to Mumbai will play a key role in enhancing trade, cultural, and social connections between the two countries.
